Where are you now?

I WAS NEWLY DIAGNOSED WITH DIABETES

Do you feel overwhelmed or lost? This program will break up all the much need-to-know information into "small bite size pieces" so that you will feel more confident in your ability to manage this new condition.

I RECENTLY STARTED USING A CGM (CONTINOUS GLUCOSE MONITOR)

Are you CONFUSED as to what to do with all the information you have? By understanding how your insulin works and how different foods affect your blood sugar, you will be able to understand your CGM trend graphs and feel empowered to take the appropriate action at that time.

I WAS RECENTLY STARTED ON INSULIN

Do you feel scared taking this new medication? Maybe you have had diabetes for some time and were on oral medications, but your health care provider recently started you on insulin. Or you are taking the insulin as prescribed, but you are having many high/lows?

I HAVE AN INSULIN PUMP, BUT I CANNOT GET GOOD BLOOD SUGAR CONTROL

You may be NEW to pump therapy or maybe you have been on a pump for YEARS. Yet, your blood sugars are not where you hoped they would be. Many people do not learn how to count carbohydrates prior to starting on a pump. Your pump has NO idea what you are eating, when you are eating, or how much you are eating. Improving your carbohydrate counting skills along with useful information about insulin will help you BEST utilize your pump so that it works for YOU.

This program will help you gain back control

  • Clarity with Food

You will gain a better understanding as to how carbohydrates, proteins, and fats affect your blood sugars. You will feel empowered to choose the best foods, in the right portions, at the right time.

  • Demystify Insulin

By understanding how insulin works, you will be able to use it to help you achieve better control. Learn about when the timing of the insulin can help regulate your blood sugars.

  • Understand BG Fluctuations

Gather insight as to what causes blood sugar fluctuations during situations like sick days, exercise, and puberty and learn how to deal with different situations you will encounter.

What people have experienced

Recently my mother who is soon to be 81 was encouraged to get an insulin pump. The endocrinologist prescribed the Tandem t:X2 pump with Control IQ. Unfortunately she was only given 2 hours of training without any additional support from them. Fortunately I was able to find you and were extremely helpful. Again, thank you for putting for putting my mother at ease.
